At the Westin with Jenny Kim and Zack Fournier
For obvious reasons our first stop in Beijing is at the newly open Westin hotel. 560 rooms, 880 staff including several "Cesar Ritz" alumni : the GM Dan Aylmer (IHCR), Jenny Kim (IHCR)Asst. Director of Sales, Matthew Geng (UCCR) Guest Services Manager, Tony Shi (UCCR) Sales Manager and Zachary Fournier (ICMS) Management Trainee. Having faced the challenge of a hotel opening (21st June) leading up to the Olympics, the whole staff rose to the expectations of a very high profile guest: Georges Bush and family!
